This free guide is for educators, administrators, and educational communities seeking to discover concrete recommendations for creating inclusive, equitable, and accessible STEAM spaces from the ground up. It aims to build a structure for the inclusion of people from diverse communities often othered in STEAM, including those who identify as Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC); LGBTQ+ people, Latinx, women, and neurodivergent people; first-generation people; linguistically diverse people. The guide is the winner of the Innovation Challenge in Healing Centered Education by the Acosta Institute in 2025.
